reasonably identify you.

4. Marketing and Communications Choices.

You may opt out of marketing emails by following the unsubscribe instructions included in those emails or by contacting us using the information below. You may be able to control push notifications through your device settings and text messages by following instructions provided in the message, if applicable. Even if you opt out of marketing communications, we may still send non-marketing communications, such as reservation confirmations, service notices, account notices, payment notices, safety alerts, legal notices, and policy updates.

5. How We Disclose Information. We may disclose personal information as described below: • Service Providers. We may disclose information to vendors and service

providers that help us operate the Services, including hosting providers, cloud-storage providers, software providers, payment processors, reservation platforms, analytics providers, customer-support providers, communications providers, marketing providers, fraud-prevention providers, and professional advisers;

  • Emergency and Pet-Care Disclosures. We may disclose information to

veterinarians, emergency contacts, authorized pickup persons, first responders, animal-control authorities, insurers, or others when we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the health, safety, or welfare of a person or pet, respond to an emergency, obtain care, or address an incident;

  • Legal and Compliance Disclosures. We may disclose information when required

or permitted by law, subpoena, court order, legal process, regulation, or governmental request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, investigate misconduct, or protect the safety or rights of others;

  • Business Transactions. We may disclose or transfer information in connection

with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, joint venture, or other business transaction involving all or part of our business;

  • With Your Direction or Consent. We may disclose information when you direct

us to do so, authorize a third party to receive information, connect the Services to a third-party service, or otherwise consent to the disclosure; and

  • Aggregated or De-Identified Information. We may disclose aggregated,

anonymized, or de-identified information for lawful business purposes. We do not knowingly sell personal information in the traditional sense of exchanging personal information for money. However, certain analytics, advertising, or tracking activities may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” under some state privacy laws. Please see Section 12 below for additional information about privacy rights and opt-out choices that may be available to you.

6. Third-Party Services, Analytics, and Advertising.

The Services may include links to third-party websites, platforms, applications, or services, or may integrate third-party tools such as payment processors, analytics services, mapping services, app stores, social media features, advertising technologies, or reservation platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy, security, or content practices of third parties. Your use of third-party services is subject to the terms and privacy policies of those third parties.

7. Mobile Application Permissions. If you use our mobile application, the app may request access to device features or

information, such as camera, photos, files, push notifications, location services, contacts, or other permissions, depending on the features you choose to use. You may control app permissions through your device settings. If you disable certain permissions, some features may not function properly.

8. Data Retention. We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the

Services, maintain business records, comply with legal, tax, accounting, insurance, licensing, and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, detect or prevent fraud, and protect our rights. Pet records may be retained for at least three (3) years after your last visit or longer if required or permitted by law, contract, insurance requirements, or legitimate business needs. We may retain aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information indefinitely, unless prohibited by applicable law.

9. Security. We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards

designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, mobile network, or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you use the Services at your own risk. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for notifying us promptly of any suspected unauthorized access or account misuse. If we learn of a security incident involving personal information, we will investigate and provide notices where required by applicable law.

10. Your Choices and Account Controls. You may access, update, or correct certain account information through your account

settings, if available, or by contacting us. You may request that we delete your account or certain personal information, but we may retain information where necessary or permitted to complete transactions, provide services, maintain business records, comply with law, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, protect safety, or exercise legal rights. You may also control certain cookies, device permissions, advertising identifiers, and communications preferences through your browser, device, app, or email settings.

11. Children’s Privacy. The Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18, and we do not

knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe we have collected personal information from a child under 18, please contact us using the information below, and we will take appropriate steps to delete the information or otherwise comply with applicable law.

12. State-Specific Privacy Rights. Depending on your state of residence and the laws applicable to Stay, you may have

certain privacy rights regarding your personal information. These rights may include the right to request access to personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion of personal information, a portable copy of personal information, or opt out of certain processing, such as targeted advertising, sale of personal information, sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, or certain profiling activities. A. How to Submit a Privacy Request. You may submit a privacy request by contacting us using the contact information in Section 18. To protect your privacy, we may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. We may ask you to provide information that allows us to reasonably verify that you are the person about whom we collected personal information or that you are authorized to act on that person’s behalf. We

will respond to verifiable privacy requests within the time required by applicable law.

B. Appeals. If applicable law gives you the right to appeal our decision regarding a privacy request,

you may submit an appeal using the contact information in Section 18 and clearly state that your submission is an appeal of a prior privacy request decision. C. California Residents. If you are a California resident and the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, applies to Stay, you may have the right to know/access the personal information we collect, use, disclose, sell, or share; request deletion of personal information; request correction of inaccurate personal information; opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information, where applicable; and not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights. The Services are restricted to individuals age 18 or older, as stated in Section 11. California law separately provides special protections for the personal

information of individuals under 16; that statutory age threshold does not permit anyone under 18 to use the Services. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of individuals under 16, nor do we knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. We do not knowingly sell personal information in exchange for money. Some use of analytics, advertising, pixels, cookies, SDKs, or similar technologies may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under California law. California residents may exercise applicable opt-out rights by adjusting available cookie preferences on our website, using a browser or extension that sends a Global Privacy Control signal, or contacting us using the information in Section 18.

D. Texas Residents. If you are a Texas resident and the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act applies to Stay,

you may have the right to confirm whether we are processing your personal data; access personal data; correct inaccuracies; delete personal data provided by or obtained about you; obtain a portable copy of personal data; and opt out of processing for targeted advertising, sale of personal data, or profiling in furtherance of a decision that produces a legal or similarly significant effect. E. Other State Privacy Laws. Residents of other states may have similar rights under applicable state privacy laws. We will honor privacy rights where required by applicable law.

13. Notice Regarding Sensitive Information. Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect information that may be

considered sensitive under certain privacy laws, such as precise location information if enabled, account credentials, payment-related information, information relating to a person’s emergency contact, and pet health, vaccination, medication, or veterinary information. We use such information only for purposes reasonably necessary to provide and secure the Services, process transactions, communicate with you, maintain safety, respond to emergencies, comply with law, and fulfill the purposes disclosed at the time of collection, unless otherwise permitted by applicable law.

14. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals, which are distinct from Global

Privacy Control (GPC) opt-out preference signals. Because there is no uniform industry standard requiring a response to DNT signals, we do not currently respond to DNT signals unless required by applicable law. GPC signals, by contrast, may constitute legally recognized requests to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Where required by applicable law, we will recognize and honor applicable GPC and other legally valid opt-out preference signals in accordance with that law. Browser settings or signals do not necessarily disable all cookies or other technologies needed to operate the Services.

15. International Users.

The Services are operated from the United States and are intended for users located in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be collected, processed, stored, and disclosed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

16. Third-Party Links. The Services may contain links to websites, applications, or services not operated by

Stay. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites, applications, or services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will

update the “Last updated” date above and post the revised Privacy Policy through the Services or otherwise provide notice as required by law. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of an updated Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy to the extent permitted by law.

18. Contact Us. If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, wish to exercise privacy rights, or need

to contact us about our privacy practices, please contact us at: Ringeaux Enterprises, LLC d/b/a Stay P.O. Box 140490 Dallas, TX 75214-0490 support@staysitplay.com (214) 770-2097
